ICTIEE 2027 is a flagship initiative from IUCEE bringing global educators, researchers, and leaders together to drive innovation in higher education. The Fourteenth International Conference on Transformations in Engineering Education (ICTIEE 2027) will be held from January 7 to 9, 2027, at Saintgits College of Engineering. Organized annually, the conference brings together leaders, faculty, researchers, and students from diverse educational institutions to share ideas, experiences, and innovations in engineering and higher education.
The theme of ICTIEE 2027 is “Student-Centric Teaching across Disciplines.” Building on IUCEE’s enduring mantra, “I am teaching… are they learning?”, the conference emphasizes the importance of designing learning experiences that place students at the centre of education. ICTIEE 2027 will feature insightful talks by distinguished leaders from academia and industry, providing an excellent platform for networking, collaboration, and professional growth. ICTIEE 2027 aims to connect global experts and passionate educators committed to advancing the quality of teaching and learning across disciplines.
This year, the conference will focus on innovative teaching pedagogies, applied and experiential learning approaches, curriculum design for problem-solving, and frameworks that strengthen critical thinking and real-world application of knowledge. The conference will also highlight advancements in educational research methodologies, data-informed assessment practices, and emerging technologies that support effective teaching and learning. ICTIEE 2027 will explore the growing role of digital transformation and academia-industry collaboration in shaping future-ready education, while emphasizing meaningful student engagement, continuous feedback practices, and improved learning outcomes across disciplines.
The event also encourages dialogue across engineering, sciences, humanities, management, and emerging interdisciplinary fields to create inclusive and transformative learning ecosystems that prepare students to address real-world challenges with adaptability, empathy, and lifelong learning skills.

Recognized as a Centre of Excellence, it goes beyond textbooks to foster innovation, research, and global readiness.
Engineering Excellence and Pioneering Achievements: Saintgits leads in practical engineering with landmarks like the KPIT Sparkle 2026 national win—where students outshone IIT Madras with 'SignVisor,' smart glasses aiding the speech and hearing impaired (₹10 lakh prize). The campus boasts Kerala firsts: concrete canoe, electric and autonomous ATVs, and the state's first SAE Baja championship team. Facilities include Kerala's inaugural Concrete 3D Printing Lab, plus programs like B.Tech in Civil Engineering with Computer Applications and Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology). Teams represent India globally, such as the first Kerala ASCE group at U.S. competitions.
Creative and Professional Programs: Beyond engineering, Saintgits nurtures diverse talents via the Design School's B.Des in Communication, Interaction, and Product Design; BFA (Honours); Integrated MCA/MBA; ACCA-powered B.Com (Honours); and specialized B.Sc/M.Sc Psychology for mental health experts.
Global Reach and Accreditations: As Kerala's only unaided engineering college with 10 NBA-accredited programs (six Tier-1 UG), one of the first three autonomous colleges, and host to AICTE-approved twinning with University of Massachusetts Lowell (USA), Indo-Taiwan AI/ML Research Centre, Kerala's first Taiwan Education Center, and Japan Education Center, Saintgits connects students to international opportunities. Access over 10,000 Coursera courses for personalized upskilling.
Saintgits Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (SCETL): Established in 2022 by the Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE), SCETL drives innovation in engineering education through advanced teaching practices, research, and continuous faculty development. It empowers educators to adopt modern pedagogies, enhance student engagement, and align academic programs with global standards.
